Delicious in GHOST GiRL's Dungeon - Interactive Cafe Experience at Anime North 2025

In 2024, GHOST GiRL GOODS held their very first interactive cafe experience at Anime North. This is the second year in a row (and more to come in the future!) You can check out last year's event here. Last year's event was a more brand specific theme, where attendees got to meet my characters (in human form). This year's theme was inspired by Dungeon Meshi and D&D!

The cafe started off with a wonderful "welcome dance" from our bard Pearla! After the dance, each character introduced themselves and the story began.

The team set out on a quest and found a mysterious item, which then cursed MUSIC MONSTAH! It turned out that the mysterous item was a cookbook guarded by dark magic, which belonged to Darkpoji. The cafe attendees then participated in a dice rolling game where they had to defeat MUSIC MONSTAH and Darkpoji in order to restore order.

After the heros were victorious, we reasoned with Darkpoji and added her to our party, while also bringing MUSIC MONSTAH back to normal. Now it was time for the feast! Pompoji helped to remove the cursed power from the tavern drinks by creating an elixir of purity. We were then able to neutralize the drinks for safe consumption.

All attendees were served "mushroom cakes" with "mushroom extract". We were told they taste exactly like pancakes and maple syrup! They were then garnished with gembugs and gold coinbugs. A perfect feast for any traveller to boost your stats and HP before setting off on another quest!

All the mascots interacted with each table, to ensure a good time for all! When a new quest was posted, the heroes said goodbye to their new friends and it was time to depart.

This cafe experience was completely sold out for the 2nd year in a row of GGG running it. We had 5 time slots and each were filled! Lots of silliness was exchanged with all of our attendees and things even got a little sassy as time went by!

I am so grateful to all those who attended. Most importantly, a huge huge thank you to all the helpers and staff who made this event possible. I am so happy to have such a wonderful team to work with and I cant wait to start planning for next year's event!
